Although there are many things that can affect the performance of your computer, there are some simple things you can do to help each month that your computer is at maximum capacity. This article focuses on two issues that have an impact on the performance of your computer and then explain what you can do.
Problem # 1: Computer Hard Disk Files
The computer is always writing information to your hard drive, no matter what you do. The computer tries to keep all the file information in the same location on disk. While there are some excellent freeware programs, these programs often have advertisements or tracking code associated with their use. The term "spyware" refers to programs that collect information on your computer and (Internet) surfing habits without your knowledge. This information is then sold to a third-party companies as a means to generate income.

Three steps to improve computer performance
Now that we have discussed two issues that may affect the performance of your computer, we discuss three things you can do is to restore your computer's performance back to normal. They should not introduce these three stages in sequence. Ideally, you should repeat them about once a month, or if you notice a change in computer performance.
Step 1: Delete Spyware
The first thing to do is delete the spyware files or programs from your computer. To do this, you can create a program of free software such as Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition from Lavasoft. For the program, go to www. download. com and search for "Ad-Aware SE" (without the quotes). Select "Download Now" and follow the installation instructions. Once the program is installed, you can use your computer for spyware files. You can then select and delete from your computer.
Note # 1: Always be sure to check the "Check for Updates Now" option to the current program.
Note # 2: You should be aware that when you delete spyware files, some of these "free" programs that have been downloaded, it still does not work correctly. If you have a program that you downloaded and want to continue to work to examine very carefully what to delete from the "scan results" when the scan is complete.
Step 2: Clean up your hard drive
Once the spyware is removed, you must clean up temporary and unwanted files from your hard drive. To do this on your Windows PC, select Start in the lower left of the screen. Then select the program option. Under the program option, select "Accessories". Under "Accessories" option, select "System Tools". Select from the System Tools, select Disk Cleanup.
Select the drive you want from the pull-down menu, cleaner, and click OK. In general, this is drive C. If you have more than one hard disk, choose one at a time. This program will then check your computer for files that are deleted from the computer. You can delete all temporary files and trash. You can also check the box for any other file you want to delete the program.
Step 3: Defragment the hard drive
Once to remove any spyware and temporary files, you need to defragment your hard disk. This process simply writes your computer files so that they are no longer scattered on the hard disk, but are written in the same location for quick sequential access.
To defragment the hard drive of your Windows PC, select Start in the lower left of the screen. Then select the program option. Under the program option, select "Accessories". Under "Accessories" option, select "System Tools". Select from the System Tools, select "Disk Defragmenter". First, select the disk from the computer. In general, this is drive C. However, many computers have multiple hard drives. Choose one at a time.
You can select "Analyze" to the program, please read the disc, and see if it needs to be defragmented. The program will ask at the end of his analysis. Use the defragment option as requested.
