This book reads like a Secrets "the Master has revealed." Yes, provided you know what is what, but if you know what's what, then there really is no other book available. It took me the better half of 60 days on this trip, but it comes out bigger and bolder than ever before, on the other side. If you are committed and put in difficult times, this book is in a professional status. My eyes were once closed, now after reading this book, we are wide open. I can only hope that the great master and his staff Kuligan another book that features a few intact 3ds Max, who plays in this column to write. A must for any aspiring 3D artist to research. . . .

I screen all the books of 3ds max which were purchased through your local Barns & Noble for several years. I must say, most of them were a big disappointment. I took advanced 3ds max 5 Modeling & Animation "on a whim and a pleasant surprise. I liked this book so much that I ordered Kulagin B. 's (the author) max another book "3ds max 4 for animation of objects. It is also a good book and includes features that are not discussed in his book Max 5 (max 5, the book is based on the real max 4 book). These books can max the best books I have ever done a comparison on. The project-based lessons reveal the hidden power of Max and are easy to follow and understand. B. Kulagin is a true master of max.

The book says: "advanced modeling and animation. The modeling and animation examples in this book are designed for beginners and a bad standard. The tutorials are quite uninspirational and without creativity. Demo files on the CD are simply embarrassing. Why you want to follow a tutorial that creates such a poor result? I find it offensive that a writer is the ambition of a novice – to provide anything to use as empty promises. Free tutorials on the Internet are by far the most diverse and useful resources available to an emerging model and animator. Do not buy this book.

They are, after the first of Proyect book, is the largest, and many techniques apli modeling and animation tools, plus a bit 'of texturing. I do not deny that it is a very prectical book, but I just get the feeling that there will be more, I can not pretend to cover all the tools of the program, but if he says he advanced modeling and animation, so I expect some more modeling techniques important, and too big, board of animation. The book consists of two large projects, where last two animations, as the result of extensive use of different instruments. The rest of the book is filled with a few brief tutorials that are not very different from those found on the web. Finally, I would expect a more animated and Mödling book is dedicated, and not try a book you will learn some depth 'of everything, without in-in anything. PD: If you do this step by step guide used books, do not buy this book, sometimes it can skip the steps Proyect, as long as you already know how to get to the next step.
