There is multitouch on the phone, just not in google’s default installed apps (like the gallery or browser);
You can easily install a multitouch browser and games if you want though, straight from the market (it’s free too).

Games don’t matter on a phone, a phone is for texting and calling people and social networking. Consols are for games, so in this case i don’t care if there arnt good games for the nexus one i just need a new phone.
